I have a formal and continuously updated training in Human Computer Interaction that is combined with 12 years of experience with the planning, analysis, information architecture, functional design, UI design, and evaluation of (mostly online) interactive applications. I also have several years of experience with project management, department management, and consulting each. I am an active member of local and international IA/UX/HCI networks and have co-organized conferences in the field.
I want to work with user experience professionals to advance the field.

(Privately Held; 51-200 employees; Internet industry)
February 2006 — Present (2 years 4 months)
In this position I help Info.nl gather user experience (UX) requirements for interactive systems: the scope and business goals, functional, visual and content requirements as well as usability and accessibility requirements.
Then I help design concepts, structures, screenflows and wireframes, working with marketeers and business managers from the client as well as visual and front-end designers from Info.nl. My involvement in client projects starts with the pitch and often doesn't end before QA is done.
I review the work of other interaction designers (3 internal, plus freelancers), am instrumental in defining the design process for the User Experience department, and am involved in intakes with freelancers and hiring new employees
Info.nl is a long-standing web agency that focuses on financial services, with many clients in the banking and insurance world.
