He is interested in applied technology, managing information explosion and the emerging services sector in the IndoUS corridor.
Pawan serves on the boards of a number of companies and continues to advise a number of companies in Asia and the US. He is also actively involved with Give Foundation (www.GiveIndia.org and www.GiveWorld.org) which is the largest online non-profit exchange connecting US donors with projects in India.
Intellecap (www.Intellecap.net) is one of the firms that he co-founded. It is today one of the fastest growing strategic services firm in the international development sector. Intellecap leverages a model of taking mainstream profitable solutions for the development sector; and by building a bridge between investors and social enterprises.
Pawan has been in the start-up environment for most of his career: either as a venture capitalist investing in early stage companies, or being part of the management team in an early stage company, or kick-starting new divisions within larger companies.
He has been Vice President at Parsec Interact, based in silicon valley. Prior to Parsec, Pawan was Director of Business Development at Syntel (SYNT) developing their presence in the South-West US. Earlier he was with early stage venture funds: being a Principal at McKenna Capital and an investment manager at GVFL Ltd.
