I like being involved in building web sites for the consumer market. A good web site is a balance of what the user needs, what the business wants, and what can be built at a given resource level. Balancing these often competing interests on high volume websites with multiple stakeholders is what I find most interesting. High volume sites justify greater (back-end) complexity and more things to balance, which means more fun to me. I have been mentoring and managing people in the internet space since 1999, and I still like to get my hands dirty too.
