Paul Thomsen's Summary
I'm building and telling a better computer management story!
I work at 1E on our efficiency products to bring our products to market by applying my research, analysis, testing, and technical evangelism skills, often with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (ConfigMgr, or SCCM).
Previously I spent 50+% of my time traveling to work with organizations and partners of all sizes (mostly in western North America). That included organizations with SCCM hierarchies with 300,000+ clients and thus 1E products on that scale.
I spent 12 years at Microsoft serving Microsoft customers and the community in a variety of roles, including engineering, project leadership, testing ("dogfooding"), data analysis (SQL queries), scripting, administration, technical writing, blogging, conference presentations, training, and reporting.
Specialties: technical analysis, design, troubleshooting, testing, training, technical writing, presentations, SQL queries (T-SQL), scripting (vbscript), programming (C#, C, Visual Basic, .NET), project planning, project leadership, program management.
