A pragmatic and versatile operations professional who has been a key player in the UK cable telecoms business, from the original North American VC start up, through Chapter 11 and leading to the final industry consolidation forming Virgin Media, today listed on the US Nasdaq and valued at £8bn.
Virgin Media are now one of the leading UK telecoms and entertainment providers, supplying telephony, digital cable TV, broadband and mobile phones to millions of customers.
Experienced in running both regional and UK customer operations, process design, new product development, major capex programme delivery, multi million pound outsourcing and on/offshoring contract management.
A highly commercial Operations Director with a proven track record in post merger and acquisition integration, including start up and turnaround. Extensive experience in management of sales, provisioning/despatch, customer service (inc call centres), repair, retention, credit control and field based engineers. With P and L experience tangible bottom line results have been delivered both in UK wide B2C and B2B (sole trader, SOHO, SME, Major Accounts).
