Paul Geller is a startup founder, musician, and Internet Freedom activist.

He was the founder of National Metrics (sold in 2009), one of the oldest search marketing firms in the country; Co-founder of The BKRY, the design studio in NYC that created http://sociali.st; and is the CEO of Bigger Markets, one of the largest (in reach) college marketing services companies in the US;

Paul was the founder of underground party producer Republic and developed widely licensed trademarks in the EDM sector, including CRUSH which was licensed to Atlantis in the Bahamas and then sold to Insomniac/Live Nation in 2014. He held a variety of executive level positions at music streaming startup, Grooveshark including SVP of Public Policy & Government Affairs, SVP of Business Development and EVP of Information Products, where he lead the team that created "Beluga" -- the largest unadulterated music consumption data mining platform in the world.

Paul authored an Op-Ed in Washington DC daily, The Hill during the SOPA debates, which set a pragmatic and hopeful tone for the debate and then participated in the Internet Blackout of 2012; He is a former Consumer Electronics Association Audio Board Member.

He's presented at dozens of events worldwide on topics including Copyright, Internet Freedom, Media Buying, Ad Ops, Data Mining and Government Relations at venues including: SXSW, MIDEM, CES, Digital Content Summit, Digital Music Forum West, Next Big Nashville, Microsoft Personalization Summit, The Creators' Freedom Fund and has participated various Capitol Hill briefings to elected representatives and Congressional staffers.

Prior to being named as a personal defendant in the $17 billion lawsuit lead by Universal Music Group against his employer, Grooveshark (settled in 2014), he was the lead guitarist for '90s punk band, Keepsake.

In 2013 he purchased a large stake in apparel designer, Dead Flowers NYC.
