Paul built his first commercial Internet site in 1996 for Johnson & Johnson's "Confide" product. Since then, in addition to providing his user experience expertise for dozens of clients, he has built two practices based on Information Architecture and User Experience, the first for Luminant in 1999.
Most recently, Paul ran the User Experience practice for Atmosphere BBDO, where he oversaw User Experience efforts for corporate domains such as JNJ.com, Qualcomm.com and Conservation International's Conservation.org. Paul's work reflects the conviction that simply optimizing sites for usability is an obsolete perspective on user experience, and that user experience must reflect the best qualities of a company or product's brand experience.
