The journalism industry needs a complete overhaul if it's going to survive. It's going to take a lot of tech and know-how, but before that, it's going to take a lot of people changing their minds about what journalism is.
I work daily to try and accomplish both those things.
SEO, HTML, copy editing, social networking, writing, (light) video editing, link aggregating

May 2008 — Present (1 year 8 months)
I manage and promote Web content produced by Sound's news sites (more than 30 of them) via www.pnwlocalnews.com and a host of social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
I report/photograph/etc. when needed.
I also act as support for newsroom staffers in regard to Web media.
