Patrick Watts’s Summary
Now an 11-year veteran of the music industry, Patrick’s career began in the evangelical community at the local church level as a choir director; transitioning into the music industry, he took this base knowledge and applied his aptitude for information systems toward developing solutions that meet the needs of ministries worldwide, a practice he continues to this day.
Patrick serves currently as manager of marketing and events for all of LifeWay Worship, and the ongoing manager of the LifeWay Worship Project. He guides the development and enhancement of audio, print, and online resources for LifeWayWorship.com. One of his many ‘hats’ he has worn in the development of SongMap was to define and implement the requirements, and interact with the project managers to develop the web-based solution for churches. Because he is fluent in both “programmer” and “musician,” Patrick has brought wisdom and insight to the SongMap portion of the LifeWay Worship Project; he not only bridges the gap between complex technologies and volunteer performers—he connects them.
A 1993 graduate of Baylor University in Waco, Texas, Patrick makes his home in Brentwood along with his wife Lydia and son Adam.
