With twenty five years of combined technology and business experience, Patrick Seaman is a senior leader with a successful hands-on history of managing and engineering mixed-technology solutions, strategic planning, product and project management as well as marketing, communications and creative.
Patrick worked his way up from systems engineering and project management to help found and lead Dallas’s own broadcast.com as Director of Technology and other roles, and was instrumental in the eventual $5.4b merger with Yahoo!. Subsequently, Patrick launched his own company where he served as CEO, managed the company and took over all marketing, creative and communications after contractors proved less capable. Patrick later helped launch several technology startups. You can email me at patrick@patrickseaman.com and see some of my work at:

This was an exciting low power wireless video and Internet broadcast project that integrated lots of technologies and was in the "never done before" realm. Engineered wireless A/V cameras that we physically mounted on wildlife for extended behavioral observation on a protected wildlife habitat. Responsible for the overall technology direction of the company.
This cross-discipline project involved designing and building a remote wildlife research center, with a fiber loop around the wildlife habitat, a series of tower mounted digital PTZ cameras, low power wireless camera mounted on the animals, server room, remote studio, editing suite, as well as high speed data connections to the remote lab area.
While Deer Channel is research oriented, there is a small website for public viewing of the animal-cam video which was formerly broadcast live but is now on demand. Web technologies include Windows Server 2003, SQL Server 2005, Windows Media Server, Flash Video and ASP.NET.
