I’m a writer, web developer, and community administrator who has been professionally developing websites since 1998 and managing online communities since 2000. I founded and own the iFroggy Network (http://www.ifroggy.com), an internet network featuring content, community and e-commerce sites covering various interests. This includes websites such as phpBBHacks.com, KarateForums.com and PhotoshopForums.com.
I am the author of "Managing Online Forums: Everything You Need to Know to Create and Run Successful Community Discussion Boards." It's a practical guide to managing online forums, communities and social spaces, based upon my real life experience. It was published by AMACOM, the publishing arm of the American Management Association.
Besides writing content for the entire iFroggy Network, I have actively written editorials, news pieces, and product reviews for several online publications. I write for multiple blogs, including YanksBlog.com, ManagingCommunities.com, and Bad Boy Blog, and I maintain a personal blog.
I wrote the foreword for Building Online Communities with phpBB (Packt Publishing), the first book ever published about phpBB, and served as a technical reviewer for the book, as well as it's shorter version, phpBB: A User Guide. I was also a reviewer for Volume I: Foundations and Volume II: Applications of the PHP Anthology (SitePoint) and Blog Marketing (McGraw-Hill).
Online community management, social media, website management, writing.
