For quite some time I strove to become a "Developer" of software, but over time and with experience I realized that I instead found enjoyment in solving problems of varying complexity.
When needed I do develop software -- but rather than a creator, I like to consider myself more of a "Problem Solver" that uses software as a means to a solution.
With strengths surrounding open source software, I can adapt to and work with the proprietary software your company employs.
High level development via C/C++ and Java. Coursework in Scheme and Assembly. Consulting work completed in the markup languages X/HTML and CSS. Server and database development and management both professionally and personally via PHP, Perl and SQL. Expertise in Microsoft and Adobe with office suites and multimedia development, respectively.
