Patrick Dillon has nearly a decade of sales & management experience in both direct sales and business-to-business sales. He started working for Vector Marketing while in college as a direct sales representative. [Vector is the largest recruiter of college students in the U.S., and exclusive direct sales distribution arm of Cutco products.] After quickly becoming the number one rep in his home state of Wisconsin he moved into a management position which he stayed involved with throughout school.
In 2001 Patrick graduated from The University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Business degree (majors in Finance and Marketing). He moved to Milwaukee to become the youngest ever account manager with the then largest contract furniture firm in Wisconsin. Surpassing expected first year annual sales by over 240% in the first 8 months, he returned to Vector on an offer to manage the Sales Promotion Department for approximately 15 states. As the Sales Promotion Manager for the Central Region of Vector he was responsible for all sales and sales management training events and incentives for over 6,000 direct sales representatives and 75 managers annually. Spending nearly 5 years in that position he led many of the changes to the company’s sales promotion development and other innovative company programs.
Currently Patrick lives in San Diego, CA where he along with his good friend Jimmy Hendricks are building a web-based apparel design community named collarfree.com. Collar Free sells fashionable t-shirt designs submitted by designers and manufactured base on popularity from users input. Collar Free intends to eventually branch out from strictly t-shirt designs, leveraging it's strong fashion design base. Future markets may include retail, wholesale & boutique sales, along with promotional marketing.
Patrick’s strengths are contract negotiation, promotion, project management, advertising, marketing, incentive & compensation development, event planning, purchasing, direct sales, and B-to-B sales.
