I've worked in management consultancies and high-tech startups as well as Academe. I'm currently working on Business Development at the University of Strathclyde as well as being interested in contract/consulting opportunities in Scotland.

As Director of this technology commercialisation company, I'm currently working on the development of a software tool which enables machines to locate and identify words within real visual scenes (see www.scenereader.com)
My current roles involve applying my knowledge of research commercialisation, grant funding applications, licensing, patenting, technology marketing, machine vision and project management. I have also recently been appointed Business Strategist to Icodeon Software and a member of the Institute of Directors.
