Patricia Shanks, BS Business and Management, is a voice talent and voice trainer based in Orange County, CA. She voices commercials, corporate video productions, documentary films, Internet and interactive programs. She recently voiced the national radio announcements for Suzanne Somers' Women's Health and Hormones Seminars, a 2008 green emissions training program for International Engine Corporation, and a documentary for the UC Irvine Center for Citizen Peacebuilding.
Patricia also has trained singers, actors and voice users for over 30 years in public, private and conservatory settings. Many of her clients have gone on to win top honors in contests and have become successful actors and performing artists. Her studio is located in the Design Plaza, right next to the Fashion Island shopping center in Newport Beach.
Patricia also has to her credit successful careers in non-profit arts management, singing as a professional opera chorister, producing and hosting a weekly television arts and entertainment news segment, and writing an arts and entertainment news column for several editions of the Los Angeles Daily News.
