SGD is responsible for educating and servicing the needs of all independent 3M window film installation companies in these States. Also, SGD handled the warranty processing and resolution as well as the application of marketing development funds for this territory. Finally, the SGD sales team partnered with both 3M and the independent dealers on the various market development activities needed to achieve growth objectives.
As the COO at SGD, I served as the leader responsible for defining the direction, strategy and priorities of the organization. I was responsible for the creation of the annual budget, management of the P & L and oversight of the business relationship with 3M. I also directed and managed the supervisors responsible for the daily operation of the business.
During my tenure at SGD, the company revenue has grew an average of 25% annually.

Starting this company from scratch, I utilized my network to create strategic partnerships that allowed us to launch the company faster and at a lower cost than would have been possible otherwise. I was also responsible for the creation of an e-commerce website along with all associated social media platforms for Zola Distributing. I also oversaw the creation of a 40 page print catalog that was part of a direct mail campaign to reach the industries that utilize these tools. Finally, I deployed a full-time tool supply truck that serviced the installation shops throughout southern California. During my tenure at Zola, the company went from concept to nearly $500,000 in annual sales.

I was responsible for growing NGSG while adhering to a budget set forth by me and the senior executives from the other companies. During my tenure, I brokered a deal that partnered NGSG with 3M Renewable Energy Division to service the window film needs of retail chains with 50+ locations. This partnership proved successful and resulted in NGSG being purchased by Pentagon Protection Plc in October 2010. I remained involved during and after the purchase to assist in the transition to the Pentagon team. NGSG continues to provide window film specification and project management services to some of the largest retailers in the United States.
