After serving as an Air Force officer and an FAA radar Air Traffic Controller, I followed the Lord's call into fulltime ministry in 1975 at Abbott Loop Christian Center, in Anchorage, Alaska. I served as the Dean of Men, then later as Dean, of the Charismatic Bible College of Anchorage. In 1981 I led a church-planting team to Westchester County, NY, and pastored that church for nearly five years. After some time back in the bible college in Anchorage in the late 1980s, I took another church-planting team in 1989 and pioneered a church in Medford, Oregon. I pastored that church for 17 years before retiring in 2006 from fulltime pastoral ministry. My wife and I now live in Oregon's Willamette Valley, where I stay busy enlarging my website — "Pentecostal Bible Studies and Free Pentecostal Sermon Central" (http://www.jimfeeney.org) — and preaching occasionally at churches pastored by longtime friends.
My wife and I have four adult children, two grandsons, and one granddaughter.
