Jeff Perry is Senior Pastor of St. Louis Family Church, a life-giving, Jesus-centered, Bible-based church in the St. Louis area. He is also the Founder of Service International, an organization that reaches out with compassion to people in desperate situations—such as floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, tsunamis, and wars—all over the world with a goal of empowering individuals and communities to help themselves through crisis situations.
The mission to Honor God and Help People motivates Family Church and Service International. The ministries endeavor to bring the hope-filled message of Jesus to the world in both the everyday and extraordinary aspects of life.
Jeff Perry’s passionate and engaging teaching style is humorously punctuated by an appreciation of what it means to be sincere people living real life. Pastor Jeff and his wife Patsy have four children: Chelsea (27), Taylor (23), Addison (18), and Kingston (14).

After completing Bible College in 1980, Jeff responded to God’s call to preach the Gospel to the nations by serving as a missionary in England. Jeff next returned to the U.S. and served as a youth pastor in St. Louis, Missouri. In 1985, he established Service International, and in 1988, Jeff and Patsy Perry, founded St. Louis Family Church. The church began with 128 people and has since grown into a thriving congregation of approximately 5,000.
In 1993, the church’s sanctuary and offices were destroyed in the Midwest’s Great Flood. All seemed lost, but Jeff Perry united and organized 8,000 volunteers from the church, the community, and across the nation (under the umbrella of Service International) to clean up and rebuild homes and businesses in the church’s community of Chesterfield Valley. As a result, the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce and the Chesterfield City Council named Jeff and the congregation Citizens of the Year.
Propelled by the experience of rebuilding after a major disaster, Service International’s (SI’s) relief efforts have proven to be effective in communities across the nation and around the world. Some ongoing efforts include: continuing medical and dental care in war-torn Kosovo, rebuilding 150 plus homes in post-tsunami Sri Lanka, and providing the opportunity for more than 4,800 volunteers to provide relief to more than 650 homeowners in the Gulf Coast and counting.
Jeff and Patsy Perry have also been ministering to entertainment professionals for the past ten years. In early 2004, they established Third Tuesday, a monthly teaching meeting for media professionals who desire to make a faith–based difference in their industry and the world.
