After earning my Hotel Management Diploma from IHM, Calcutta, i was campus inducted by Taj Group of Hotels as a Hotel Management trainee. The initial training for a year was at the very popular Taj Residency, Bangalore.
I was then made a part of the opening team of the luxury Taj Bengal, Calcutta. Here i rose as a Banqueting & Conventions Manager. This was followed by a 4 year stint at Taj Residency, Vizag as the Food & Beverage Manager.
Presently heading the events vertical at ABP group where my primary responsibility was to set up the vertical to create and execute strategies for revenue generation through BtoB and BtoC activities and activation programmes.
I have honed my skills in Strategic Planning, Business Development, Hospitality management and Project Management.

Responsible for conceptualizing & executing large format events, exhibitions, conferences, festivals and providing BTL solutions for the ABP group publications.
The events department is the nodal point for all events, activation and brand promotion activities for the group. The execution expertise developed has resulted in creation of about 60 major and minor events the group handles presently.
