April 2006 – April 2010 (4 years 1 month)
I played a key role in the April Revolution 2006 and Madhesi Movement 2007 through my digital democracy organization Hamro Nepal whose flagship was my blog http://demrepubnepal.blogspot.com. The only full timer out of the 200,000 Nepalis in the US to work full time for Nepal democracy. There is a concrete mathematical theory called the butterfly effect. A butterfly flapping its wings in the Amazon forest could be the reason a cyclone hit Bangladesh. What happened in Nepal in April 2006, January-February 2007, and February 2008 were political cyclones. I was the butterfly flapping my wings in New York City. In April 2006, over a period of 19 days, about eight million people out of the country's 27 million came out into the streets to shut the country down completely to force a dictator out.
Later Barack Obama's first full time volunteer in New York City. http://democracyforum.blogspot.com

"To connect every human mind to the web, and then some." Mainframes ---> PCs ---> ICs. Internet access is the voting right for this 21st century.
Raised round 1 money 100K approx - seed money - most of which was returned to the investors in February 2009 reacting to the worst economy in 70 years.
The IC - Internet Computer - concept was what the Chromebook is.

August 1997 – May 1998 (10 months)
Got elected student body president within six months of landing as an international student at the number one liberal arts college in the South, hard core Bible Belt. First and last time in the college's 150 year history a Freshman had done so. Did it within five months of being absolutely routed when running for Freshman Class President. I came, I saw, I conquered. The office was the highest paid student job on a campus where every student was required to hold a job.
Vice General Secretary
Nepal Samajwadi Janata Dal
January 1994 – August 1996 (2 years 8 months) Nepal
A political party with two MPs. Several of its members (Rajendra Mahto, Hridayesh Tripathy, Sarita Giri, Rameshwar Ray Yadav) went on to become cabinet ministers over the years. Two launched parties that are thriving and expanding.
Lived on dollar a day gifted by Dr. Lady Shirley Richmond.
I come from a political family on both sides. My grandfather was Mayor of the village for over 15 years. My father ran for parliament in 1991 in Nepal after democracy was reinstated in the country after a hiatus of three decades. During much of the decade before he owned the largest radio and electronics shop in my hometown of Janakpur. My mother's cousin was Education Minister of Bihar (India) in the 1990s when Laloo Yadav was Chief Minister. Laloo later went on to become Railway Minister for all of India in the 2000s and was hailed the best Railway Minister in the world.
