Founded in 2000, the MTI is an Italian non-for-profit organization with the statement to promote the different forms of the music theatre, encouraging the knowledge and the circulation of the international repertoire; to promote and to support small Italian arts expressions; young artists, theatre companies, music and arts non-profit organizations in general. For this purpose the association develops cultural exchanges with regional, national and international corporations, institutions and non-profit organizations, to make the most of the Italian artistic and professional heritage.
