Pam Wheelock’s Summary

In 2004. after many years working in the field of rehabilitation, I founded Purrfectplay-- an innovative manufacturing/retail pet products company. It has always been clear that my life would be intertwined with the lives of cats and dogs. I had tried to start a pet toy company many years ago, before the internet. Now, thanks to the "long tail" and wonderful connections afforded by the internet we are able to run a small niche company and stay true to our green pet centric values!

Purrfectplay produces dog and cat toys crafted exclusively from organic dye free natural fibers. Our products are crafted with fair wage labor in the USA. We give 5% of our sales to rescue organizations and are proud members of Green America.

Goals: To learn more about running a growing business and managing this growth. To become more proficient in social marketing in order to deepen our relationships with pet companions and honor the great gifts pets bring to our lives.
