    Permission to Parent

(Partnership; 1-10 employees; Individual & Family Services industry)

    March 2008Present (1 year 5 months)

Permission to Parent is a faith-based effort devoted to bringing courage and a renewed hope to parents, giving them back the permission to parent their children without fear. Today, many parents feel helpless when it comes to raising their kids; afraid of screwing up or not doing enough to provide their kids with the “right” opportunities. They find themselves caught between love, discipline and an overload of well-intentioned advice from friends and family - often leaving them confused, tired and discouraged.

Through Permission to Parent, parents are provided with opportunities to celebrate their success, share their challenges and learn from one another in small to medium sized gatherings that are both educational and comforting. From within these gatherings of friends, parents are free to be themselves and find courage and hope in the understanding that they are not alone.

As a team, we focus on creating an atmosphere of excellence through innovative communication strategies and are committed to helping individuals connect both with our local church and in relationship with God.

VWC ministers to more than 5000 people from over 80 nations weekly. Focusing on a core vision to "bridge the gap" of the cross-cultural generation of Atlanta and helping individuals discover their potential to make a significant impact in the world.
