Permission to Parent is a faith-based effort devoted to bringing courage and a renewed hope to parents, giving them back the permission to parent their children without fear. Today, many parents feel helpless when it comes to raising their kids; afraid of screwing up or not doing enough to provide their kids with the “right” opportunities. They find themselves caught between love, discipline and an overload of well-intentioned advice from friends and family - often leaving them confused, tired and discouraged.
Through Permission to Parent, parents are provided with opportunities to celebrate their success, share their challenges and learn from one another in small to medium sized gatherings that are both educational and comforting. From within these gatherings of friends, parents are free to be themselves and find courage and hope in the understanding that they are not alone.
