Prior to starting up small businesses and leading turnarounds, Owen served in a variety of senior executive positions in international consumer products, aerospace and automotive industries. Before to moving to Colorado, he was President and an owner of M&J industries in Ohio, a tier one supplier to the heavy truck industry. He also held CEO and COO positions at Sheaffer Pen, Inc., Iowa and senior management positions at Parker Pen Co, and Gillette in both Wisconsin and England. Owen holds a post-graduate degree in management and a degree in manufacturing engineering gained with an engineering apprenticeship at Rolls Royce Aero Engines, Derby, England.
Skilled at leading business development strategies - particularly from the perspective of people, teams, lean methods and customer relations. Skills are biased towards executive leadership, operations and business development.
