Anil Behal holds a Masters degree in Management from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and a Masters degree in Human and Organizational Systems from the Fielding Graduate University, Santa Barbara, California, where he is pursuing a PhD in Human and Organizational Development. His research interests include the systems psychodynamics of "social networking" and an ethnographic/clinical study of socio-emotional communication patterns (text, voice, and video) on the Internet. In addition to traditional education in management and organizational development, Anil has also completed two years of experiential education and training in contemporary psychoanalysis (Modern Freudian) at the Philadelphia School of Psychoanalysis. He holds a graduate certificate in Six Sigma Healthcare (Green Belt) from Villanova University, Pennsylvania.
Anil has been associated with the insurance and healthcare industries in the US for the past two decades, and prior to that, was affiliated with several major multinational corporations in India. He is the Managing Director and Founder of ORGDYNE Training and Consulting, LLC a Philadelphia-based firm that explores the complexities of group and organizational life by studying them through a "systems psychodynamics" lens. The firm continues to host a variety of online and face-to-face courses and conferences dedicated to the advancement of "applied" knowledge in the areas of leadership, teambuilding, executive coaching, and organizational assessment. In September of 2006, the firm made a significant pioneering breakthrough by offering the first-ever, "online" group relations conference in the Tavistock tradition, followed by the first "online" conference in 2007, to integrate the NTL and Group Relations technologies in a single event. The firm recently launched a free global network of OD professionals, executive coaches, academics, and graduate students at http://www.orgdyne.ning.com
