AllyKatzz.com is a social networking site for Tween Girls aged 9 through 15. Through the AK Network which includes AllyKatzz.com as well as several other website and magazines all targeted to tween girls, we receive over 7 million unique views each month.

INITIAL DISTRIBUTION/CIRCULATION: 250,000 copies were sent via direct mail, with additional distribution to college campuses and retail stores. Frequency is quarterly. The publication is free.
EDITORIAL HIGHLIGHTS: Celebrity-driven editorial that focuses on issues including politics, the environment, family and healthcare.

As Creative Director: Building of the major, award-winning website and seven satellite sites totaling over 300 pages, from start to finish, focusing on interactive concepts, art and design. Established and maintained a graphic look for VOXXY, designing all corporate identity and branding material including logo, business cards, media kits, holiday cards, advertisements, promotional materials, etc.
In 2000, VOXXY won a prestigious Bandie Broadband Award for innovation in the category “Newest New Thing.”

A retrospective of our work and film was held at MOMA/NY in 1999.At Strand, I attended the Sundance and Toronto Film Festivals for 3 years. I also attended the Slamdance Film Festival as their Creative Director from 1996-2000.
Strand Releasing was formed in 1989 and its goal has been to fuse quality art films with commercial product. Strand Releasing was honored with a ten year retrospective at the New York Museum of Modern Art curated by Laurence Kardish.

I worked with David Carson on projects ranging from illustrating editorial for Raygun to submitting proposals for clients. My work with David Carson appears in two books, 2nd Sight /Raygun and The End of Print. I value my experience with David and the many contacts I made through my work with him. He has been a major influence because he was the first one to look at my book and then to commission me to work for him.

World Domination Recordings was an indie rock record label founded by bass player and music entrepreneur Dave Allen in Los Angeles. From roughly 1989 to 1996 it released records by artists including Low Pop Suicide, The Elastic Purejoy, Stanford Prison Experiment, Perfume Tree, Sky Cries Mary, Loop Guru, Sugar Plant, and Noah Stone, and published a zine with essays by Allen and design by Ophelia Chong, called Clutter.
Produced and artdirected album art for Sky Cries Mary, Elastic Purejoy, and Dave Allen. Produced and art directed Clutter, a music zine for Dave Allen.
Produced and directed a music video for ELPJ.

Worked with David Carson on photo/illustrations for Raygun Magazine. Created fashion, editorial, and music illustrations.
Ray Gun was an American alternative rock-and-roll magazine, first published in 1992 in Santa Monica, California. Led by founding art director David Carson, Ray Gun explored experimental magazine typographic design. The result was a chaotic, abstract style, not always readable, but distinctive in appearance.
