Paul Bradshaw is a Senior Lecturer in online journalism, magazines, web design and new media at the University of Central England in Birmingham, UK.
He maintains a number of blogs, the most successful being the Online Journalism Blog (onlinejournalismblog.wordpress.com), which led to him being named one of the UK's "most influential journalism bloggers" by UK Press Gazette.
He has spoken widely on online journalism and acts as an occasional consultant to the publishing industry.
Paul's professional background is in both journalism and new media: he was Editor of Internet Monthly for two years, and involved in the launch of the first MP3 music magazine, MP3X; he then managed the launch of the Education-Quest family of websites for an educational magazines publisher, before joining UCE Birmingham as a lecturer. He still works as a freelance journalist and designer.
In addition to teaching online journalism he is degree leader for the BA (Hons) in Media and Communication (Web and New Media), and involved in a new MA in Television and Interactive Content.
