Oliver draws on a background in psychology, experience in usability, and understanding of mobile technology to identify key issues for client business strategy and to recommend & design solutions. He has consulted to clients such as; Three, Optus, Telstra, MySpace, Westpac, ninemsn, and ABC.

He has a wide range of experience evaluating and improving the end-to-end customer experience with mobile devices, including 2G, 2.5G and 3G devices, portals, applications and content. Oliver is a judge, author and speaker on usability and the mobile customer experience.

Oliver is a founding member of the AIMIA Mobile Industry Group and he plays a key role in the design and project management of the Australian Mobile Phone Lifestyle Index, which looks at how Australians use mobile products, services and content.

Oliver also helps run the Sydney chapter of Mobile Monday, an international mobile professionals networking night.
