Bachelor , Applied Information Technology, specializing in Software Engineering and Managament , 2003 — 2006
The Software Engineering and Management program is project and problem -based. The main focus is to learn and practice how to produce high quality software using engineering methodologies and principles.
Each semester is divided into two parts (equal in size), of which one part is a software project conducted by a group of students, and the other consists of four or five theoretical courses.
The theoretical courses, as well as the project for each semester, have given me an understanding and practical knowledge in several different areas. The practical work in the projects includes requirement analysis, architecture, design, implementation and testing.
The experience from working with software projects has also taught me to plan my work, meet strict deadlines, write meeting agendas and notes, work with version control system, produce documentation, work according to iterative or non iterative process models, trying out different roles in a team and other practical skills.
