Sainath Nagarajan is passionate about enabling Business Value Alignment™ by linking strategy, organization and execution. He is a Venture Catalyst that makes your ventures successful and has founded 2 ventures himself. As a business technology leader with core expertise spanning IT strategy, organization transformation and execution; he has over 14 years of cross functional global experience in the US, Middle East and India.
Previously, as a direct report to the CIO of a $3B global business services firm, he led the strategic organization transformation program of a $110M 500-person IT organization, resulting in the ability to deliver on the most critical revenue-generating and cost-rationalization opportunities. He also developed a global strategy to enable sustainable competitive advantage through compliance-ready and 'green' data centers in the rapidly evolving data center and cloud computing space.
Prior to that, he was accountable for executing a $15M business technology portfolio across the Americas, Europe and Asia. He has held leadership roles at Razorfish, and provided start-up impetus to the founders of an energy technology startup. His career began in the world of financial audit and advisory services.
Sainath is currently enrolled in the Kellogg School of Management Executive MBA program at Northwestern University, with a focus on strategy and finance. He graduated with distinction from Carnegie Mellon University with a Masters degree in Information Systems Management and was awarded the MISM Leadership Award. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®). He holds an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from the MIT Sloan School of Management, completed the Stanford University Advanced Project Management Program and the Programs on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. He is the co-author of the "NSR Management Mediation Grid", published by the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution in 2007.
