Globalisation and Power in the 21st Century (GAP21) was a not-for-profit organisation set up in 1999 which aimed to bring Industry, Government, Academia, Policy makers and civil society together to debate the social impact of Information and Communications Technologies on 21st Century society. Our launch event took place at Oxford University and consisted of a global debate on the Digital Divide. This included live links to Yale University, the ITU in Geneva and the World Intellectual Property Organisation.
