Throughout my involvement with the online masters degree program at the Werner Institute at Creighton, I'm enjoying being on the cutting edge of two fascinating fields - online education and dispute resolution. After years of teaching university students at the graduate and undergraduate levels in traditional settings, figuring out how to do this best on line is a refreshing challenge which brings together several of my favorite areas of practice.
In my private practice as an attorney and professional negotiator, I have represented clients in many complex negotiation processes.
As a mediator, I have assisted in commercial disputes, partnership dissolutions, intra-organizational conflict, divorce processes and many other types of disputes. I have special expertise in assisting negotiation and mediation processes conducted through online communication.
As a trainer, I have worked in half a dozen countries with professionals from many fields on improving their negotiation skills, and have seen substantial results.
