• Worked in key disciplines like Socio Economic & Environmental Studies, Rehabilitation & Resettlement (R&R), Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental Management Plan (EMP), Techno-Economic Appraisal, Evaluation of DPR and Policy Formulation.
• Worked in Committee with World Bank in the Dam Rehabilitation and Improvement Project (DRIP). DRIP is undertaking Environmental and Social Assessment (ESA) of dam rehabilitation projects in the five States of India in accordance with the National & World Bank policies.
• Contributed in two major Bid Evaluation Processes (work includes preparing EOI and RFP documents, evaluation of Technical and Financial Bid, screening Consultants etc) in the “Post Project EIA Studies of Irrigation Projects”. Two Planning Commission Schemes (INR 27 Million) related to seven major irrigation projects are directly under my supervision.
• Contributed positively while finalizing National Water Policy 2002, EIA Notification 2006, National Environment Policy (NEP) 2006, R&R Policy (NRPP) 2007 and National Water Mission. Was a Member of Drafting Committee of National Water Board (2009) and contributed immensely in the final meeting at Vigyan Bhawan.
• Have been an active part of more than 70 High Level Meetings of the “Expert Appraisal Committee of River Valley and Hydro Electric Projects” of Ministry of Environment and Forests (MOEF).The Apex Committee finalizes environmental clearance, Terms of Reference (TOR) and Pre-Feasibility Report (PFR) of River Valley and HE Projects.
