DRIP is undertaking Environmental and Social Assessment (ESA) of dams rehabilitation projects in the four States of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal in accordance with the National policies and World Bank policies
• Expression of Interest (EOI): Contributed in the Tendering Process (Preparing EOI, RFP documents, Evaluation of Technical and Financial Bid, Selecting Consultants etc) related to “Post Project Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
• Policy Formulation: Contributed positively while finalizing various important Acts like National Water Policy 2002, EIA Notification Act, 2006, National Environment Policy (NEP) 2006, R&R Policy 2007 and Regulatory Framework for Wetlands Conservation and many such documents.
