2001 — April 2006 (5 years )
I founded the AquaLogic group at BEA. I was instrumental in defining the overall product vision as well as shipping Data Services Platform (DSP).
DSP allows enterprises to build data services that can access, aggregate and update information from multiple heterogeneous sources; that include relational databases, Web services, XML & Text files, packaged apps and messaging systems. DSP provides the necessary modeling, metadata and runtime framework required to build composite data services.
My responsibilities included both inbound product management duties focusing on product roadmap, requirements (PRD), definition and design, and outbound duties focusing on customers, sales support, field enablement, analysts and writing technical collateral.
Prior to taking up the Product Management role, I also served as Technical Program Manager for Data Services Group.
