Lead the Internet strategy and technology team for RFE/RL (22 web sites, each in a unique language). Team consisted of 25+ people in product mgmt, project mgmt, development, operations and design roles.
• Defined and executed the strategy for turning RFE/RL from a radio broadcasting company into a multimedia organization with a focus on utilizing the Internet to reach target audience.
• Orchestrated the product vision and roadmap for upgrading all RFE/RL web properties from several antiquated platforms into one integrated Content Management System. The new system - which increased traffic an average of 50% - allowed one centralized team to maintain all sites.
• Launched a monthly event within RFE/RL called "Technology @ Work". Paired tech savvy employees with producers/broadcasters to teach entire organization how to utilize technology to become more efficient and better serve the audience.
