Nina Alvarez’s Summary

As an editor/book doctor, I edit, rewire, polish, and prepare fiction manuscripts for submission to agents and publishing houses.

As a freelance copywriter. I write smart, vivid web and print copy, create elegant brochures and can even design.

I worked most recently as chief editor of an online arts community, writing and editing pieces on Web 2.0 marketing, using blogs, podcasts, microblogging, and using social networking strategies to promote art online.

I have taught college-level English composition and literature, been a copyeditor for Aramark and Educational Testing Services, and a copywriter and designer for Project Management Institute.

I am currently working on a novel and my ultimate goal is to make my living as a novelist.
