During my years at BCC, we launched a new athletics program, led the way in strategic social media use, and re-examined our emergency preparedness procedures in light of the possibility of a pandemic. All of this was in addition to the "routine" responsibilities held by a community college communications/marketing department - from orientation to commencement.
Years from now I will look back at BCC as the place where I was able to identify and develop my strengths. Part of this is because of the people I worked with. A smaller department, we continuously challenged each other creatively and had leadership that allowed us to take chances. I am a more dynamic writer, communicator, and strategist because of my time at BCC.

Coming out of college, I was fortunate to get a position that afforded me the opportunity to take on numerous responsibilities right away. At LCCC I coordinated the promotion of all athletic, cultural, and academic events, including the sports information, marketing, and promotion for seven athletic teams.
During my time at LCCC, I also served on the Public Relations committee of Cheyenne Frontier Days, one of the largest outdoor rodeos in the world. The week-long event features some of the best performers in the country music industry, and I was honored to be a part of the planning process.
