A graduate, cum laude, of the University of Indianapolis with a Bachelors Degree in Corrections, receiving the Marvin Henricks Award for Outstanding Achievement as the top graduating student in my discipline, I currently coordinate Governor Daniel's innovative Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP). Coordinating all aspects of the program down to the smallest detail, I am involved in all facets of the program from member eligiblity and systems processes to policy decisions and contract oversight to member complaints and provider inquiries.
With a background in new home sales and marketing, I have extensive experience in leadership and sales along with experience in multi-tasking, customer service and time management. I have passions in many areas of business from public relations to marketing to business relationship development. My long term goal is to work with an organization for whom I can use my past experience and knowledge to help attain and surpass company goals and ambitions. I have always exceeded expectations and been the best in my field. My success in the past is indicative of my accomplishments to come.

As Program Coordinator, I organize and coordinate all parties involved in the implementation, management and policy development for Governor Daniel’s innovative new health plan, the Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP). I am also responsible for independently implementing and managing the program’s weekly member’s issue resolution meeting where each member issue must be logged and monitored on a daily basis until resolution.
I have also been tasked with creating the entire HIP Internal Policies and Procedures manual and updating all policies for the plan and ensuring they are practical for all parties involved and comply with contract, rule and waiver stipulations. Overall duties of ensuring the program is adhering to all federal and state rules, regulations and the CMS Waiver as well as all contractors are adhering to the terms of their contracts with the State.
I am also responsible for creating, regulating and maintaining several internal and external SharePoint sites and keeping them up to date, resolving all legislative and departmental inquiries timely and accurately via email or phone and compiling all monthly, quarterly and annual reports for internal review and use in contract compliance and plan oversight and those submitted to CMS for review.

I was one of the youngest people hired as a manager where I trained three new incoming Managers and incoming employees in company policy, procedures & product knowledge. In this position I managed and disciplined a staff of 10+ per shift, resolved customer complaints and ensured the store ran smoothly. It was also necessary to ensure that the all State Labor Laws and company policies were complied with at all times.
