The mainstay of my work is improving customer experiences and delivering products designed to impact key business metrics. I have more than 15 years of experience understanding customer needs for a wide range of industries -- ecommerce, financial services, media, healthcare, education, technology, non-profits and arts organizations.

I help clients understand the unmet and latent needs of customers and prospects and devise product strategies that optimize the intersection of customer needs and my client's business goals. As part of my work I often conduct expert reviews and primary research with target/existing customers (listening labs, usability, focus groups, surveys, etc). Then, I create product strategy recommendations rooted in customer need and create an experience design (wireframes) that is the visual representation of the recommended strategy.

All projects are designed to improve the experience customers have on various screens -- computers, phones, tablets, TVs--as well as improving cross-channel experiences.

In 2011 and 2012, I was a judge for the annual User Experience Awards (, which were created to recognize the best UX work in the country.

I am a certified instructor for the LUMA Institute's Innovation Workshops, which are taught all over the world in a variety of industries. LUMA Institute is an education company that teaches people how to be more innovative. Through hands-on curriculum, LUMA helps organizations learn and apply the discipline of Human-Centered Design to create new value and drive sustainable growth.
