Nicole Garton-Jones is a lawyer and mediator and practices in the areas of wills and estates, family law and mediation. Nicole is the principal of Heritage Law, a boutique firm which is regularly featured in the media about its use of technology and innovative approach to the practice of law.
Nicole received a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2001. She is a member of the Wills and Estates and Family Law sections of the Canadian Bar Association, the Estate Planning Council of BC and Collaborative Divorce Vancouver.
Trained in mediation and collaborative law, Nicole has received conflict resolution training at UBC Law School, Continuing Legal Education of BC, the Justice Institute of BC and the Family Mediation, Civil and Comprehensive Practicum Projects.
Nicole has been a guest instructor on Law Office Management, Wills and Estates and Mediation for the Law Society of BC Professional Legal Training Course.
Nicole is a graduate of Leadership Vancouver and the Womens’ Campaign School and is on the board of Continuing Legal Education BC, the Pacific Legal Technology Conference and the West Vancouver Chamber of Commerce.
