At Energizer I was responsible for many aspects of Energizer.com. I worked closely with our brand managers and other stakeholders to update the site to meet their marketing needs. I continuously assessed the effectiveness of the site using Google Analytics and other tools and utilizing those insights to provide strategic recommendations
I worked with some of the world's most recognizable brands at evolve24. I consulted with the communications and market research teams at these firms to help them understand their reputation within the marketplace. I developed search strategies and produced reports based on content gathered from traditional (newspapers, magazines, and TV) and social media (Facebook, Twitter, and blogs). The reports we produced were frequently delivered to C suite executives.
In addition, I engaged with internal and external stakeholders through evolve24's social media presence on Twitter and Facebook. I developed content and fostered online relationships with employees, customers, and industry representatives.
At AT&T, I was a member of production support team tasked with providing tier 2 support for the DSL ordering applications. My team provided 24x7 support for WebSphere Application Server, AIX, Sun Solaris, and Oracle databases. We coordinated troubleshooting conference calls, configured alerts, and resolved outage situations.
I also provided training to new team members and developed new training materials that decreased the amount of time needed to onboard new associates. I maintained our team website and built new web applications that significantly decreased the FTEs needed to support our applications
At Professional Check Systems (now a part of Harland Clarke), I had the opportunity to take on many responsibilities. Officially, I was the Product Development Coordinator & Customer Support Representative. In this role, I worked closely with our executive team, outsourced development group, and our clients to develop the next generation of our CheckPro and Bank Check software. I also provided telephone and email technical support for our bank customers and traveled to financial institutions throughout the U.S. to provide onsite training.
Unofficially, I provided I.T. support for our 15 person office. I worked with our sales team to demo our software to prospective clients at their location and at bank trade shows. In addition, I worked closely with our CEO to demonstrate our technical capabilities to investors, ultimately resulting in the sale of PCS to a financial services company.
I wrote an article for Lifestyle, a magazine sent to Reliv's distributors, about how small businesses should use social media. I also wrote a sidebar article about effectively utilizing LinkedIn.
