I write a blog at http://www.donttellmymum.com
I'm on Twitter as @nickfell
Since November 2007, I've been working as a Planner at Ogilvy Advertising. I've developed strategies for a large charity, a pharmaceutical company and two FMCG brands.
A few months into my role as a Planner, I wrote an award-winning piece in the "Under-30 Essay" category of WPP's global competition for original thinking in communications services, the Atticus Awards.
I'm also part of a team that coordinates Ogilvy's Fellowship scheme. In particular, I developed the strategy for, and built the scheme's online presence: http://www.ogilvyfellowship.co.uk.
Prior to working as a Planner, I spent just over a year working as an Account Executive for OgilvyOne on the American Express account. Amongst other things, I managed the launch of a super-premium credit card.
During my time at OgilvyOne I also created a facebook group for the advertising community called "Don't tell my mum I'm in advertising - she thinks I play piano in a brothel". The group has over 5100 members (as of Dec. 2008).
I joined Ogilvy on the graduate scheme in September 2006.
