Nick Cross's Summary
After fulfilling my Americorps*VISTA service with Sanford Middle School I was hired full-time to continue a youth entrepreneurship program. In addition, I support community groups that meet with our students during the school day and assist the school social worker as needed. A third and final major role at the school is helping teachers with project management and administrative tasks. I truly enjoy the staff and students I get to work with each day.
I have fund raising and managerial experience and a wide variety of other experiences through various internships. I have been involved in the community and have served as the President for a local youth-serving collaboration and the Vice-President for a state-wide professional association.
My long-term goals are to be doing community development in an international setting. I am looking for progressive experience that will lead me to that direction, including program management, programming, and other similar positions.
Specialties
Fund raising, grant writing, public relations, international issues, advocacy, management, adult education, youth work, volunteer management, coordination, program management, and much more.
