I've graduated this past May 2008 from the Visual Effects program at Savannah College of Art and Design with Magna Cum Laude honors. I am currently working at Pixar Animation Studios as a Lighting Intern. Professionally, I've worked as a Network +Certified consultant to a software company and Freelancing everything from Art and Design for web/logo/branding to Computer repair and Network support. I am comfortable working in any operating system platform, GUI or Command Line. I have strong public speaking skills, I work very well in team-oriented environments, and I'm consistently positive and inquisitive. Nick Bartone’s Specialties:

Lighting and Rendering with Maya and mental ray, as well as Renderman for Maya 2.0 and Renderman Studio. Well versed in render layers and advanced lighting and rendering techniques. Strong compositing proficiency using Apple's Shake or similar node-based compositing applications. Familiar with Python and MEL Scripting and can interpret RSL, RIB, C++, and Java. I have a wide range of knowledge in applications but I'm also completely open to learning new things.
