writer: journalism and marketing communications
Greater Chicago Area
My goals are to find new work and to meet new friends. Seeking ties to editors and publishers looking for freelance or fulltime writers. I am looking for guest bloggers for my blog and to find guest blogging opportunities on other blogs. I hope to meet and publicize people through my blog and print articles. Such people would include home decor-related artists, artisans and craftsmen; architects, builders, developers, designers, and land planners; universal design professionals, cohousing constituents, NIMBYs and those involved in NIMBYism, documentarians, shelter book authors. I also hope to discover various architectural events happening worldwide.
Anyone who needs marketing and promotional materials written and produced can contact me.
Attributes (what my editors have said about me): reliable, always comes in on or before deadline, imaginative, driven, creates mutual benefits, productive, efficient, trustworthy, loyal, and quite capable.
I prefer long-term professional commitments and expect reciprocity, which I believe leads to mutual benefits. I truly believe in writers' rights and therefore try to ensure a balance of copyright retention and pay rate. While some say my independence is an asset I find it can also be a burden.
May we strike up a great relationship!
I'm Web 3.0 savvy: SEO, advertising text messaging, Twitter, Flickr, Digg, Stumble, Publish2, Facebook, and more. To you this means my marketorial skills are multi-dimensional: in print and online. Take advantage of Web 3.0 opportunities. Make the Web work for you.
