I am currently an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Ohio University, Chillicothe. I recently finished a two-year Teaching Fellowship at the University of Virginia, Wise. I teach International Relations, Foreign Policy, European Comparative Government, Political Theory, and American Government. I completed my PhD in Planning, Government and Globalization at Virginia Tech in 2007. I worked there under the direction of Professor Timothy W. Luke. My published research to date focuses on the concept of Global Governmentality for debates about world order and empire in International Relations Theory.
