Nibby Priest began his insurance career in August 1983 as a part-time employee in his father's business while attending Henderson Community College.
In the fall of 1984 he left Henderson to attend Eastern Kentucky University. In the spring of 1986 Nibby graduated from EKU with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in insurance.
While at EKU, he was a member of the Gamma Iota Sigma honorary fraternity. In May 1986 he returned to work in the family business.
On July 1, 1989, Nibby bought an interest in The Computery of Henderson, Inc., a computer consulting company . Nibby worked in both the insurance and the computer business until the spring 1993 when he sold his interest in The Computery to his partner.
Nibby is known nationally for his insurance agency automation consulting work with the AGENA Corporation and National Users of AGENA Systems. He has also worked extensively with Henderson Community College as a part-time instructor in various computer-related classes.
"Voted Best Insurance Agent in Henderson KY 2004" by the Henderson Gleaner.
Nibby is a past Chairman and board member for the Henderson County Tourist Commission, Treasurer of the Ohio Valley Art League and Registrar for the Independent Insurance Agents of Henderson.
Nibby obtained his CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in the fall of 2001. Nibby completed all course work for this designation in less than one year.

This was Henderson Kentucky premier clone computer store in the 1980's. I was in business with Mr. Roy Brunner.
I was a silent partner in this venture but did spend much time during they hey day years of 1988-1989 (the big box stores came to the area!).
