MA Interactive Media , 2007 — 2008
Graduated with Pass with Distinction
This course has mainly consisted of a series of group projects where each team is given a brief and a few weeks to conceive, prototype, test and develop a working solution. This culminates in an industry-style pitch in which the product is presented and justified to the rest of the class. All the briefs fall within the amorphous field of 'interactive media' and the focus is on developing team-working, time-management, prototyping, brainstorming and presentation skills. The course includes a very strong emphasis on user-centred design at every stage of the design cycle. In all this I found the course was very successful and has certainly shaped my own career goals.
