Through Mashup Media, I am an active advisor to start-ups, venture capitalist firms and media agencies, advising them on new media, strategy and early stage consumer technology across all digital platforms and all marketing disciplines in international markets.
My most significant start-up client to date has been Maxthon (below) where I entered as a founding business partner and acted as the company’s Senior Vice President.
I am an advisor to venture capitalist firms most notably Charles River Ventures (US), LundKenner (Denmark) and WI Harper Group (China), advising on early stage technology and consumer Internet investments.
I have also been working with leading media and advertising agencies like Fallon and HyperHappen Ltd on a number of high-profile International campaigns, most notably Samsung Mobile’s “Anyfilms” . The “Anyfilms” campaign was considered a very innovative and ground breaking Web initiative, a crossover between film making and mobile phones.

Was responsible for Facebook's Mobile Business Development until April 2008 and launched & scaled Facebook Mobile for Operators.Recruited top talent to lead Facebook Mobile and scaled the business. Closed deals with Vodaphone Group, T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint and many other operators around the world. Led discussions with handset manufacturers like: Nokia, SonyEricsson, Motorola and INQ. Led the deal with INQ, a handset that was rewarded the best mobile handset at MBW in Barcelona Feb 09'. A deal, lead to an additional $60 million investment from Li-Ka Ching in Facebook.
Led the discussions with potential OEM partners and evaluated incoming deal proposals.
Spearheaded Facebook's China strategy and led discussions with leading Chinese Internet companies, venture capitalists, academics, experts, and NGO's.
Led the discussions & due diligence with various potential international M&A targets until the formation of a corporate development function at Facebook.
Evangelized the Facebook platform internationally with specific focus on Facebook Connect before official launch.
Scaled Facebooks Ad Credits Program and signed-on leading Web Hosting companies, a program designed for acquiring new advertisers to Facebook's Online advertising platform.

In a very short period, I have turned Maxthon into a globally well known and respected name, secured financing from a leading US Venture capital firm (Charles River Ventures) and negotiated tier one global strategic distribution and co-marketing deals, most notably a big strategic multi-layered deal (including investment) with Google, on a shoe-string budget.
Maxthon is unique in that it is the only China based Internet/Software company with a real global footprint.
