Nenshad Bardoliwalla’s Summary

Visionary enterprise software executive with proven track record of success leading product strategy, product management, and development in the analytics, business intelligence, and performance management space. Nenshad was a co-founding member of SAP’s EPM group, defining the product vision, strategy, and requirements of the EPM product line, from crafting the initial business case, to being a key leader in motivating the dramatic investments in the strategic acquisitions of Pilot Software and OutlookSoft, to playing a key leadership role in definining the SAP and Business Objects EPM convergence roadmap. During his time in SAP's EPM group, SAP’s EPM business grew from a modest beginning to well over a hundred million dollars in the span of less than two years, moving SAP from fourth place to a leadership position in the EPM market according to analyst firm IDC, and leading to SAP’s first placement in the leader’s quadrant of Gartner’s CPM Magic Quadrant. He also played a key role in establishing SAP’s Office of the CFO vision, combining GRC and EPM into coherent vision for driving strategic management processes in organizations. Under his leadership as the head of EPM Solution Management, Nenshad was responsible for the product strategy and product management of SAP’s Strategy Management, Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), Financial Consolidation, and Profitability and Cost Management (PCM) products, the 7.0 versions of which were released to market in 2008. Finally, Nenshad also led the entire development project from concept to delivery to port OutlookSoft (BPC) from it’s Microsoft-centric architecture to the SAP NetWeaver platform, delivering the product to customers in September 2008.

Prior to joining SAP, Nenshad played critical roles at Siebel Systems and Hyperion Solutions in shaping the strategy and product development efforts of multiple products that now comprise Oracle’s EPM and Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) system.
